From August to December 2000, I made a trip from Tokyo to Hanoi, mainly traveling by bicycle. These pages were updated along the way, with stories from each of the countries that I traveled through.

After two months in Japan, ten days in Taiwan, four weeks in China and cycling almost 5000 KM, I made it to my final destination, Hanoi, Vietnam. I stayed in Hanoi for most of the time, but also made a short trip in the north of Vietnam. Just before Christmas I returned home to the Netherlands.
